Who provides Kaloria

The Kaloria app and the website kaloria.ai are provided by Jan Horák, sole trader (fyzická osoba podnikající, OSVČ), ID No. 06599648, Czech Republic — registered business address in the Czech Trade Register (ares.gov.cz, ID No. 06599648), e-mail info@kaloria.ai ("we"). By using Kaloria you accept these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

The service

Kaloria helps you track what you eat, estimates calories and nutrients with AI, and offers a personal coach (Kalo), plans and tools. Some features are free; others need a Kaloria Pro subscription.

Estimates are approximate. Kaloria is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before changing your diet significantly, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition or a history of eating disorders, or take medication.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Kaloria.

Account

You can use Kaloria without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity in your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Subscriptions, trials and prices

Kaloria Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown before you confirm the purchase; the store charges you and its terms of payment apply.

The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. A free trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.

If we change the price, the store informs you in advance and, where required, asks for your agreement; you can cancel before the new price applies.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

As a consumer in the EU you may withdraw from the subscription contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving reasons. Because you ask us to start providing the service immediately, you may be charged a proportionate amount for the time until you withdraw. A free trial costs nothing.

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google: you can withdraw or request a refund through them (reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play order history), or write to us at info@kaloria.ai and we will help. Refunds otherwise follow the store's rules and your statutory rights.

Invite, promo and free-access codes

Codes are personal, have no cash value and can be used only within their stated conditions and validity. Free access ends automatically at the end of the stated period unless you buy a subscription. We may refuse codes obtained in breach of these terms.

Fair use

Do not misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app or our servers, no automated scraping, and no resale. We may suspend access in case of serious or repeated breaches.

Your content and our content

Photos, texts and recordings you add remain yours. You allow us to process them to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. The app, its design, texts, data and brand belong to us or our licensors; you may use them only within the app.

AI answers and estimates may be inaccurate. Check important information before relying on it.

Liability

We provide Kaloria with due care, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free estimates. We are liable under the applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.

Changes and ending

We may develop and change features. We will announce material changes to these terms at least 30 days in advance in the app; if you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription and stop using Kaloria. You can stop using Kaloria at any time.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.
